for everyone

Welcome to

PICTURE PERFECT

Each week a theme will be posted up on Thursday, and you are invited to put up your best picture with that theme in mind, it should be just

 ONE and ORIGINAL,

 i.e not off the internet,

Then come back and post a comment on the Picture Perfect page
so that everyone can link to your blog and see your pic.

By all means mention your camera and lens used, and if the picture has been altered or enhanced in anyway! Out of the box thinking is encouraged!!

Please open your page for viewing for all for that day...and then visit as many others as you can! Try and post a decent size pic on your blog page, so much is lost if the pic is too small or too big.

The entries will close at midnight on Friday

oOo

The theme this week is

Safe

turtle_edited

This little turtle had crawled into our yard from the stream, all covered with algae and leaves.    A few minutes later we spotted him crossing the road in front of our house with traffic going by. We were worried about him, so Mr. Fuzzy picked him up and took him to the other side and let him go, keeping him safe to visit us another day.

The turtle can't go out to play,
Or sell his house or rent it;
For when he moves,
His house moves too
And nothing can prevent it.

Cute and so nice of Mr. Fuzzy to save him for another day. Nice diddy of a poem. Great closeup shot.

I chose the one with the glaring eyes, for if they weren't like that, I do think no one would spot her right away. Thanks for stopping by and yer comment 8=)

His shell keeps him safe from some things, and Mr. Fuzzy kept him safe from cars. Nice :-)

That's cute!!! I love turtles and wanted to get some until I read up on them and found they carry a very unsafe disease. Now I watch them from far away. But helping to get safely across the street would qualify as an exception.
(where do you live that you get turtles in the yard?)

foto..We live in the Hudson Valley in New York, near the Catskill Mts. It's very beautiful here...we see a lot of wildlife...even the occasional black bear.

What a cute little guy. It certainly is fascinating that they would travel out in the traffic with all the noise and wizzing by of cars.
