jeann...yes those are chives. I planted them in that container at least 10 years ago and they come up every year without fail.

Marvelous, exuberant growth. Makes a person feel good just looking at them. Makes a person feel bad not having any space for such a thing in her own apartment . . . ah well, I have a black thumb anyway.
